Problem 1.1.7 Scratch Game or Story
"Nightmare"
Partners: Luke Wilson and Zach Le Blanc
Final Product |
Abstract |
Our team created a survival game. In our game the player can turn a light on and off to deflect "monsters" or "nightmares". The player can also click on a door to close it. The player must work on deflecting multiple "monsters" until the time runs out. Once the time runs out and the player is still "alive" the player wins the game. |

Reflection
We used the scrum framework to develop our game. A decision matrix was created to help analyze our ideas and narrow the choices. Once our game was selected we created a product backlog consisting of 3 user stories. From the product backlog, we created our first sprint. In our first sprint, my task as a scrum development team member was to create the coding of the game while my partner created the costumes of the game. The coding I was in charge of was difficult at times and required a lot of troubleshooting and debugging. I also had to take a lot of time outside of school to work on it. In the end, it was worth it because we finished our game!

Our team created a simple clicker game for entertainment purposes. In the game the player can click Trump to earn money. Once the player gets enough money they can unlock an upgrade. With the upgrade the player can earn even more money to get the next upgrade. This process repeats until the player has unlocked all of the upgrades. |
